Originally a Victorian church hall over three levels and derelict for a number of years, our designs for this building converted each floor into a multiuse area for social groups. Our original designs were all very similar for each level, however developed to be dramatically different as user groups became involved in the project. These include a children’s trust, a young women’s centre for abused women and a teenager drop-in centre. Now completed, the building offers has been the catalyst for a wider series of improvements to the immediate area including new housing and further refurbishment of derelict buildings.
