Centring around the redevelopment of a former Victorian school into an arts academy, our study developed a ‘connecting park concept’ for the area of Kinning Park. Integrating connection between surrounding community projects and buildings, the connection park features a new market square, artworks and improved transportation links including the redeveloping of the underground station and sub-station. Phase one of the school building repair program including roof repairs and full window replacement is now complete.
