Occupying a corner site the new wavy facade, inspired by Gaudi’s Casa Mila (la Pedrera), undulates above a series of circular market bubbles and a coloured forest of columns. The building overlooks our recently completed Barras Centre arched roof project with aspects beyond to the city centre. To the street edge the building is a mix of shop bubbles, a garden oasis entrance to apartments above and offers glimpses through to the forest of coloured columns that grow from the nursery play area.

The mixed-use development, including a nursery, housing, shops and market stalls, extend the life of the area into weekdays in keeping with other local projects and initiatives.
