Set within a planned village context on the edge of the city, our design occupies a double plot overlooking a golf course with distant mountain views. The planning regulations for the village provide a tight framework with which to develop a design personal to the owner. Our design uses the local stone to create spine walls running through the house, exposed inside and out. Sunken light wells/terraces offer the potential for external living in a more sheltered environment out of the sun.
